FEES

Weekly Course
Fee: Euro 2,200 per person for all 2012 dates. Single supplement applies.

Advanced Course 
Fee: Euro 3,200 per person for all 2012 dates. 

Booking information

Prices are based on double occupancy and include accommodation, all meals with excellent wines, lessons, tours, airport or rail transfers (from Pisa airport or Viareggio Railway Station), taxes, tips and gratuities. There are no hidden costs or additional expenses.

Amenities - all bedrooms are en suite and hairdryers are provided in each bathroom. Washing and drying machines are available for a small fee. Free WiFi is available at the school.

Deposits

A Euro 500 non-refundable deposit per person is required at time of registration with balance due no later than 90 days before the start of the course. The school reserves the right to cancel the booking if the balance is not paid 90 days before the course starts.

All bank charges must be included in your payment if you make a bank transfer. Your course is guaranteed once the deposit has been received.

Transfer / Arrival

You may arrive on welcome day (Sunday) at any time. Friday evening is the end of the program with Saturday being solely a departure day.

***We will need your arrival information no later than 10 days before your arrival date. The transfers that are included in the package price are ONLY from Pisa Airport or Viareggio Railway Station. Please note there is no pick-up in Florence.

*Pick ups on SUNDAY only from 8:30am to 8:30pm and drop offs on SATURDAY MORNING only from 8:30am to 10:30pm.

The drivers will be waiting for you with your name on a board and/or the Toscana Saporita brochure in their hands. If for some reason they arrive after your arrival (which is rare, and is for a reason beyond their control) Pisa airport is very small, so you can wait for them just outside arrival (five yards from arrival exit).

Dress

Dress is casual but you are required to wear closed toe shoes during lessons (no open-toed shoes – sneakers are fine) and wear shirts with either short sleeves or with sleeves that can be rolled up. We suggest you bring clothing you can layer should it be warmer or cooler than the expected 'usual' temperatures; a lightweight jacket or sweater is always suggested. If you are joining us during the summer months a bathing suit is a must – the pool is fabulous!

Extending Your Stay

Accommodation can be made for those wishing to arrive earlier or depart later than the class dates by asking at the time of booking.

Cancellations and Refunds

Toscana Saporita Tuscan Cooking School reserves the right to cancel any course for any reason. If a course is cancelled, all monies will be refunded and such refund will release Toscana Saporita from any liability. In order to cancel your registration, you must send written notification. Monies paid by you will be refunded less a cancellation fee determined as of the date Toscana Saporita receives your written notice.

Cancellation and Refund fees are:
90 - 75 days prior to course date, monies can be refunded less an administration fee.
Cancellation less than 75 days prior to course date results in 100% of the amount is not refundable.

PLEASE NOTE - TOSCANA SAPORITA HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THE PURCHASE OF TRIP INSURANCE AS CANCELLATION FEES, OUTLINED ABOVE, WILL BE CHARGED REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLATION.

Responsibility

Initial registration indicates agreement with all terms and conditions as stated in this brochure. Toscana Saporita reserves the right to make any curriculum or itinerary changes whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant. The Cooking School shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for any injury, death or damage for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to war, acts of God, weather, strike, detention, delay, airline or other travel-related circumstances. Toscana Saporita also reserves the right to accept or refuse any person as a course participant. No refund is applicable if a participant is asked to leave. The Cooking School is not responsible for any belongings damaged, lost or left behind by participants.
